Let us know how Uber is there. I think Colombia has their own Uber-type app taxi company that has spilled over to other countries in South America... but not trustworthy.

I think medellín has the Taxi app, but maybe it has spread to other parts.

the last time we were there we just stayed at the Holiday Inn, thought it was one of the nicest Holiday inn's around. it was about $100 a night
